New Lending Services Price Index, fourth quarter 2018
The New Lending Services Price Index (NLSPI) rose 3.4% in the fourth quarter—the largest quarterly increase since the third quarter of 2015—following a 1.4% decrease in the previous quarter.
Estimates of multifactor productivity growth in the provinces, 2017
Multifactor productivity in the business sector increased in every province in 2017. Multifactor productivity measures the extent to which inputs are efficiently used in the production process. Growth in this area is often associated with technological change, organizational change and economies of scale.
New motor vehicle sales, February 2019
New motor vehicle sales data for Canada and the provinces for February as well as annually revised data for the year 2018 are now available. While the number of vehicles sold declined 2.0% from 2017, sales rose 2.3% to $85.5 billion in 2018 on increased sales of higher-priced light trucks.

Lumber production increased 19.2% from December to 5 154.3 thousand cubic metres in January, but was down 10.1% compared with January 2018.
Waste Management Industry Survey: Business and government sectors, 2016
Canadian businesses in the waste management industry had total revenues of $7.7 billion dollars in 2016, up from $7.1 billion in 2014.
Number and Salaries of Full-time Teaching Staff at Canadian Universities (partial), 2018/2019
This is first release of data on full-time university academic teaching staff from the University and College Academic Staff System (UCASS) for the 2018/2019 academic year. It includes 84 of the 110 universities that participated in the survey to date, covering universities all across Canada, including most institutions in Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia, and at least half of the institutions located in the remaining provinces. As more data become available, subsequent releases will include data from the remaining universities.
