Monthly Survey of Manufacturing, February 2016
Manufacturing sales decreased 3.3% to $51.2 billion in February, following three months of consecutive gains.
Investment in non-residential building construction, first quarter 2016
Investment in non-residential building construction declined for the fifth consecutive quarter, down 1.6% from the previous quarter to $12.5 billion in the first quarter. Nationally, the decrease was a result of lower spending in all three components, with commercial buildings accounting for most of the decline.
Supply and disposition of refined petroleum products, January 2016
Canadian refineries received 8.6 million cubic metres of crude oil in January, down 1.4% from January 2015.
Quarterly Retail Commodity Survey, fourth quarter 2015
Retail sales rose 2.4% in the fourth quarter compared with the same quarter the previous year to $137.1 billion. Higher sales were reported in 8 of 10 major commodity groupings.
New Lending Services Price Index, fourth quarter 2015
The New Lending Services Price Index edged down 0.1% in the fourth quarter, following a 3.4% increase the previous quarter.
