Gross domestic product by industry, February 2016
After rising for four consecutive months, real gross domestic product edged down 0.1% in February. The output of goods-producing industries declined in February, while the output of service-producing industries was essentially unchanged.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, March 2016
The Industrial Product Price Index declined 0.6% in March. The decline was led by lower prices for motorized and recreational vehicles, while higher prices for energy and petroleum products largely moderated the fall. The Raw Materials Price Index increased 4.5%, led by higher prices for crude energy products.
Traveller Accommodation Services Price Index, first quarter 2016
The Traveller Accommodation Services Price Index (TASPI) decreased 3.5% in the first quarter compared with the previous quarter. This decline reflects low seasonal demand for accommodation services, which was also observed in the previous quarter.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, March 2016
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) declined 0.7% in March, mainly reflecting lower fuel surcharge rates. The couriers component decreased 1.0% while the local messengers and local delivery component increased 0.8%.
Computer and peripherals price indexes, March 2016
In March, prices for commercial computers declined 0.5% and prices for computers sold to consumers decreased 0.2% from February. In the case of computer peripherals, monitor prices and printer prices both increased 0.1%.
Commercial Software Price Index, March 2016
The Commercial Software Price Index (CSPI) declined 1.6% in March compared with the previous month.
