Manufacturing sales rose by 0.3% in June, driven by higher sales of petroleum and coal as well as food products. Meanwhile, the transportation equipment subsector posted the largest decline.

Wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) rose 0.7% to $84.7 billion in June.

New motor vehicle sales, June 2025
There were 177,313 new motor vehicles sold in Canada in June, increasing 6.2% from June 2024. In dollar terms, sales increased 3.1% during the same period. In June 2025, there were more new motor vehicles sold in every province compared with the same period in 2024.
