Labour Force Survey, November 2015
Employment decreased by 36,000 (-0.2%) in November, the result of losses in part-time work. The overall employment decline in November followed a similar-sized increase in October. The unemployment rate increased by 0.1 percentage points to 7.1% in November.
Canadian international merchandise trade, October 2015
Canada’s exports decreased 1.8% and imports declined 0.8% in October. As a result, Canada’s merchandise trade deficit with the world widened from $2.3 billion in September to $2.8 billion in October.
Chain Fisher real export and import values, October 2015
The monthly chain Fisher real dollar values (reference year 2007) for Canadian international merchandise trade are now available for October.
Export and import price indexes, October 2015
Current- and fixed-weighted export and import price indexes (2007=100) on a customs or balance of payments basis are now available based on the 2007 North American Product Classification System.
Production of principal field crops, November 2015
Nationally, production of most major field crops increased in 2015, while wheat and dry peas production declined. Soybean production reached a record high for the seventh consecutive year.
Labour productivity, hourly compensation and unit labour cost, third quarter 2015
Labour productivity of Canadian businesses edged up 0.1% in the third quarter, following two consecutive quarterly declines.
Architectural, Engineering and Related Services Price Index, third quarter 2015
The Architectural, Engineering and Related Services Price Index (AESPI) showed no change in the third quarter compared with the previous quarter.
Asphalt roofing, October 2015
Shipments of asphalt shingles totalled 2.4 million metric bundles in October, down 26.0% from the previous month. Compared with October 2014, shipments were 0.9% higher.
