Real gross domestic product was essentially unchanged in November.
Total income of farm families, 2023
The average total income of farm families operating a single farm in Canada edged up 0.9% compared with 2021 to $216,021 in 2023. Average off-farm income increased 2.2% to $116,788, while average net operating income edged down 0.6% to $99,233.
Oilseed crushing and major grain deliveries statistics, December 2025
Oilseed processors crushed 1.1 million tonnes of canola in December, up 2.2% from November and 6.1% from December 2024. Oil production reached 456.3 thousand tonnes in December 2025, while meal production was 622.2 thousand tonnes.
Poultry and egg statistics, January 2026
Poultry and egg statistics are available for Canada and the provinces. Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are available for January 2026. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for December 2025, and data on egg production are available for November 2025.
Energy statistics, November 2025
Primary energy production increased 2.1% year over year in November, as four of the six sectors posted gains. Meanwhile, secondary energy production climbed 3.5%, with refined petroleum products (+2.4%) making up most of the increase.
