Labour Force Survey, December 2017
Employment increased for a third consecutive month, up 79,000 in December. The unemployment rate continued on a downward trend, decreasing by 0.2 percentage points to 5.7%, the lowest since comparable data became available in January 1976.
Canadian international merchandise trade, November 2017
Canada’s merchandise trade deficit with the world totalled $2.5 billion in November, widening from a $1.6 billion deficit in October. Imports were up 5.8% and exports rose 3.7%.

The monthly chain Fisher real dollar values (reference year 2007) for Canadian international merchandise trade are available for November.
Export and import price indexes, November 2017
Current-weighted and fixed-weighted export and import price indexes (2007=100) on a customs or balance of payments basis are now available, based on the 2007 North American Product Classification System.

Experimental quarterly estimates on the number of firm entries and exits in the business sector, with associated employment, broken down by North American Industrial Classification System industry, are now available in CANSIM for the third quarter.

Shipments of asphalt shingles totalled 1.7 million metric bundles in November, down 39.7% from the previous month. Compared with November 2016, shipments were 9.6% higher.
