Monthly Survey of Manufacturing, May 2023
Manufacturing sales rose 1.2% in May, mainly on higher sales of chemical products, motor vehicles, and machinery. Monthly change in total sales for April that was originally estimated as a 0.3% increase was revised to a 0.1% decline with this release, based on updated information provided by respondents.
