Gross domestic product by industry, May 2023
Real gross domestic product rose 0.3% in May, as services-producing industries advanced 0.5% while goods-producing industries contracted 0.3%.
Survey of Advanced Technology, 2022
In 2022, 62.1% of enterprises in sectors covered by the 2022 Survey of Advanced Technology adopted at least one type of advanced technology. Advanced design and information control technologies and clean technologies were the most commonly adopted.
Airport activity, 2022
Two years after the COVID-19 pandemic brought worldwide air travel to its knees, the Canadian aviation industry continued to recover in 2022. While the number of passengers enplaned and deplaned at Canadian airports in 2022 (117.3 million) was roughly two and a half times greater than the number in 2021, it remained less than three-quarters (72.0%) of the 2019 pre-pandemic level (162.9 million).

Production and disposition of tobacco products, June 2023
Canadian manufacturers produced 1.1 billion cigarettes in June 2023, down 4.5% from May 2023. Cigarette production was 22.5% lower compared with June 2022.
