Tourism spending on culture and sport products, 2016
Tourism spending on culture products increased by $49.7 million from 2015 to $1.7 billion in 2016. Culture products represented 1.9% of total tourism spending in Canada.

As of May 27, 2018, crop development was lower to much lower than the normal (as observed from 1987 to 2017) for most parts of Canada, according to the Crop Condition Assessment Program.
Residential construction investment, first quarter 2018
Investment in residential construction increased by 8.0% to $30.5 billion in the first quarter of 2018 compared with the same quarter in 2017.
Quarterly capital spending: Oil and gas industries, first quarter 2018
Capital expenditures for the oil and gas extraction industries, including exploration and evaluation, rose 3% from the first quarter of 2017 to $10.6 billion in the first quarter of 2018, the fifth consecutive quarterly year-to-year increase. However, spending is still well below the peak levels recorded in 2014.
