Gross domestic product by industry, April 2019
Real gross domestic product was up 0.3% in April, following a 0.5% increase in March. Goods-producing industries rose 0.4%, while services producing industries increased 0.2%. The 20 industrial sectors were nearly evenly split between gains and losses.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, May 2019
The Industrial Product Price Index edged up 0.1% in May. Higher prices for energy and petroleum products and for motorized and recreational vehicles were largely offset by lower prices for primary non-ferrous metal products. The Raw Materials Price Index was down 2.3%, mainly due to lower prices for crude energy products.
For-hire Motor Carrier Freight Services Price Index, first quarter 2019
The For-hire Motor Carrier Freight Services Price Index decreased 0.3% in the first quarter, following a 1.0% gain in the fourth quarter of 2018. This was the first decrease since the second quarter of 2016.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, May 2019
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) increased 0.9% in May, after rising 0.7% in April.
Suicide among First Nations people, Métis and Inuit (2011-2016): Findings from the 2011 Canadian Census Health and Environment Cohort (CanCHEC)
The analytical study examined rates of suicide among First Nations people, Métis and Inuit during the 2011 to 2016 period, comparing it to the rate among non-Indigenous people in Canada by age group, sex and different geographies. It also explored the role of socioeconomic factors in explaining the higher risk of death by suicide among the three Indigenous populations compared with the non-Indigenous population.

Total operating revenues (excluding subsidies) for urban transit companies totalled $330.2 million in April.
Poultry and egg statistics, June 2019
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats as well as edible dried egg products are available for June. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for May 2019. Data on egg production are available for April 2019.
