Gross domestic product by industry, April 2018
Real gross domestic product edged up 0.1% in April as 12 of 20 industrial sectors increased. After a decline in January, gross domestic product has risen every month since the beginning of 2018.
Principal field crop areas, June 2018
In 2018, farmers reported seeding less land to canola and soybeans than in 2017, according to the results of the June Field Crop Survey on seeded areas. However, the decrease of canola acreage reported by farmers in late May and early June for 2018 was not as significant as expected earlier in March, when snow was still on the ground.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, May 2018
The Industrial Product Price Index increased 1.0% in May, mainly due to higher prices for energy and petroleum products. The Raw Materials Price Index rose 3.8%, primarily due to higher prices for crude energy products.
For-hire Motor Carrier Freight Services Price Index, first quarter 2018
The For-hire Motor Carrier Freight Services Price Index increased 3.1% in the first quarter, following a 2.8% increase in the fourth quarter of 2017. This was the seventh consecutive quarterly gain.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, May 2018
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) increased 0.4% in May, after posting no change in April. The couriers component was up 0.3%, while the local messengers and local delivery component increased 0.6%.
Computer and peripherals price indexes, May 2018
The price of desktop and similar computers, laptop and tablet computers, and servers was unchanged in May.
Commercial Software Price Index, May 2018
The Commercial Software Price Index (CSPI) increased 0.6% from April to May.
Monthly Passenger Bus and Urban Transit, April 2018
Total operating revenues (excluding subsidies) for urban transit companies were $332.5 million in April, up 7.4% from the same month last year.
