Canadian international merchandise trade, April 2016
Canada’s exports increased 1.5% to $41.8 billion in April. Imports increased 0.9% to $44.7 billion. As a result, Canada’s merchandise trade deficit with the world narrowed from $3.2 billion in March to $2.9 billion in April.
