National tourism indicators, fourth quarter 2025
Real tourism gross domestic product (GDP) grew 1.2% in the fourth quarter of 2025, following a 0.9% increase in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, 1.74% of nominal GDP and 3.33% of economy-wide jobs were attributable to tourism.
Farm operating revenues and expenses, 2024
In 2024, Canadian agricultural operations reported on average $770,550 in operating revenue, up 1.4% from 2023. At the same time, average operating expenses increased by 4.7% to $646,622. As a result, average net operating income decreased by 13.0% to $123,928 in 2024.
Study: An overview of child care services in the minority official language in Canada, 2021/2022
In Canada outside Quebec in 2022, children eligible for instruction in French who had attended French-language child care were far more likely to continue in a French-language elementary school (93%) than those who had attended bilingual (61%) or English-language (30%) child care. Meanwhile, in Quebec, children eligible for instruction in English who had attended English-language child care were more likely to attend an English-language elementary school (82%), including French immersion programs, than those who had attended bilingual (63%) or French-language (48%) child care.
Advertising and related services, 2024
Businesses in the advertising and related services industry group earned $15.4 billion in operating revenue in 2024, up 8.0% from 2023. This marked the fourth straight year of growth for the industry group, partly due to continued growth in programmatic advertising services, which involve the automatic, real-time buying and selling of online ad space.

The 2023 revised data and 2024 preliminary data on the value of products manufactured and sold, as well as the raw materials purchased or used by manufacturing industries, for Canada, the provinces and the territories, are now available upon request.
Wholesale trade: Advance indicator, February 2026
Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the wholesale trade sector. The advance results for February indicate that wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) rose 2.3%. The increase partly reflects higher sales in the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector.
