Labour Force Survey, September 2018
Employment rose by 63,000 in September, driven by an increase in part-time employment. The unemployment rate declined 0.1 percentage points to 5.9%.
Canadian international merchandise trade, August 2018
In August, Canada’s merchandise trade balance with the world was in a surplus position for the first time since December 2016. The $526 million surplus followed a $189 million deficit in July. Imports fell 2.5% and exports were down 1.1%.
Chain Fisher real export and import values, August 2018
The monthly chain Fisher real dollar values (reference year 2007) for Canadian international merchandise trade are available for August.
Export and import price indexes, August 2018
Current-weighted and fixed-weighted export and import price indexes (2007=100) on a customs or balance of payments basis are now available, based on the 2007 North American Product Classification System.
Canadian domestic export concentration, 2017
Concentration ratios and indexes (2012=100) for Canadian domestic exports are now available for reference year 2017, with revisions applied to reference years 2015 and 2016.
Farm product prices, August 2018
Prices received by farmers in August for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, potatoes, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available at the provincial level.
Waste Management Industry Survey: Business and Government Sectors, 2016
The total amount of waste diverted to recycling or organic processing facilities increased by 2.2% from 2014, to 9.3 million tonnes in 2016.
