National balance sheet and financial flow accounts, second quarter 2019
National wealth, the value of non-financial assets in the Canadian economy, rose 2.2% to $11,694.5 billion in the second quarter.
Architectural, Engineering and Related Services Price Index, second quarter 2019
The Architectural, Engineering and Related Services Price Index (AESPI) rose 1.1% in the second quarter, following a 0.4% increase in the previous quarter. Prices were up in every region, where, according to respondents, rising input costs due to salary changes, as well as market demand were the main contributors to the higher prices.
Motion picture theatres, 2018
Despite the rise in popularity of streaming services offering movies, the motion picture and video exhibition industry generated $1.9 billion in operating revenue in 2018, up 5.7% from 2016.
Retail Commodity Survey, June 2019
Monthly data from the Retail Commodity Survey are now available for June. The survey collects detailed information about retail commodity sales in Canada to produce estimates of the distribution of sales of various commodities at the national level.
