Consumer Price Index, August 2016
The Consumer Price Index rose 1.1% in the 12 months to August, after increasing 1.3% in July. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index decreased 0.1% in August, after posting no change in July.
Retail trade, July 2016
Retail sales were relatively unchanged for the third consecutive month in July, edging down 0.1% to $44.1 billion.
