Gross domestic product by industry, July 2023
Real gross domestic product was essentially unchanged in July as services-producing industries edged up 0.1%, while goods-producing industries contracted 0.3%.
Energy-related research and development expenditures, 2021
In 2021, businesses spent $2.4 billion on in-house energy-related research and development (R&D) in Canada, a 35.5% increase from 2020. Outsourced energy-related R&D spending increased by 50.8% to $288 million.

Canadians’ Safety: Public use microdata file, 2019
The General Social Survey – Canadians’ Safety public use microdata file (PUMF) for the 2019 reference period is now available. Data were collected from April 2019 through March 2020 from approximately 22,000 individual residents of Canada 15 years of age and older, excluding full-time residents of institutions.
