From 2006 to 2017, 14% of deaths that occurred in Canada were investigated by a coroner or medical examiner (C/ME), an average of 32,628 investigations per year.

The Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing Services Price Index decreased 0.5% in the fourth quarter of 2018, following no change in the third quarter.
Consulting Services Price Index, fourth quarter 2018
The Consulting Services Price Index rose 2.8% in the fourth quarter of 2018, following a 0.5% decrease the previous quarter. The increase is consistent with the upward trend that has been observed in the final quarter of the year since the index’s inception in 2014. This trend coincides with the presence of market conditions at the end of the calendar year that tend to be more favourable for the consulting industry.
Production and disposition of tobacco products, March 2019
Canadian manufacturers produced 2.1 billion cigarettes in March, up 12.8% from February. Cigarette production increased 11.7% compared with the same month a year earlier.
