Quarterly capital spending: Oil and gas industries, third quarter 2019
Capital expenditures in the oil and gas extraction industries, including spending on exploration and evaluation, reached $9.0 billion (+2.8%) in the third quarter, following declines in the first two quarters of 2019.
Natural gas disposition, 2018
Natural gas sales in the residential sector increased 10.7% from 2017 to 19.1 billion cubic metres in 2018, while sales in the commercial sector were up 6.0% to 15.9 billion cubic metres.
Social Policy Simulation Database and Model, version 28.0
The Social Policy Simulation Database and Model (SPSD/M), version 28.0, is now available. This version is based on 2016 data and incorporates changes resulting from government announcements between May 1, 2019 and November 15, 2019. It can be used to study the effects of changes to federal and provincial tax and benefit programs on families and governments from 1997 to 2025.
