Chicken production, 2016
Chicken production totalled 1.1 million tonnes in 2016, up 3.4% from the previous year. Ontario and Quebec produced over half of the chicken in Canada, with Ontario accounting for 376 067 tonnes and Quebec 309 128 tonnes.
