Engineering services industry, 2024
The operating revenue of the engineering services industry continued to grow in 2024, increasing by 6.5% to $46.8 billion. This represents a more moderate pace of growth compared with the 9.8% gain recorded in 2023 and the 12.4% increase seen in 2022.
Estimates of interjurisdictional employment in Canada by province and territory, 2002 to 2022
Updated estimates of the total counts and T4 earnings of interjurisdictional employees in Canada are available through the Common Output Data Repository (tables 14-10-0482-01, 14-10-0483-01, 14-10-0484-01, and 14-10-0485-01) for each jurisdiction for the period from 2002 to 2022. These estimates are disaggregated by the North American Industry Classification System, by age and by sex.
