Canada’s international transactions in securities, November 2021
Foreign investors acquired $30.1 billion of Canadian securities in November, the largest investment since April 2020. At the same time, Canadian investors increased their holdings of foreign securities by $17.5 billion, led by purchases of US shares.
Non-profit institutions and volunteering: Economic contribution, third quarter 2021
Real gross domestic product (GDP) of non-profit institutions rose 1.6% in the third quarter, the fifth consecutive quarterly increase following widespread stay-at-home orders in the second quarter of 2020. Non-profit institutions serving businesses, households and governments each recorded higher levels of real GDP in the third quarter of 2021.
Monthly Survey of Manufacturing, November 2021
Manufacturing sales rose 2.6% in November, mainly on higher sales of primary metal, petroleum and coal product, and non-metallic mineral product industries.

New motor vehicle sales data for Canada and the provinces are now available for November.
Social Policy Simulation Database and Model, version 29.0
The Social Policy Simulation Database and Model (SPSD/M), version 29.0, is now available. This model includes a dynamic labour adjustment model to reflect employment patterns for 2020 and 2021. It incorporates changes to income taxes and government transfers that were announced prior to July 1, 2021. It is based on 2017 data and can be used to study the effects of changes to federal and provincial tax and benefit programs on families and governments from 1997 through 2026.

National data on the coal mining industry’s operating revenue and expenses, as well as employment and payroll, are now available for 2019.
Electric utility financial report, 2019
Data from the Annual Electric Utility Financial Report Survey are now available for 2019 upon request.
