Research and development personnel, 2015
In 2015, the number of research and development (R&D) personnel in Canada remained relatively stable, with 245,580 full-time equivalents, about 500 fewer than in 2014. Researchers, who represented two-thirds of total R&D personnel in 2015, were down 3.6% to 165,490 full-time equivalents.
