Agricultural sector workers from the Temporary Foreign Workers Program, 2015
Every summer, thousands of temporary foreign workers come to Canada to work in the agriculture sector, primarily in Ontario and Quebec. Most workers are from Mexico. In 2015, 40,497 temporary foreign workers filled 45,005 jobs for agricultural operations.
Investment Banking Services Price Index, 2018
The Investment Banking Services Price Index was up 5.0% in 2018, following a 12.0% increase in 2017.
Asphalt roofing material, May 2019
Shipments of asphalt shingles totalled 3.6 million metric bundles in May, up 6.1% from the previous month. Compared with May 2018, shipments were 6.3% lower.
Cement, 2018
Total production of cement increased 6.7% to 13.6 million metric tonnes in 2018.
