Study: Indigenous women and girls: Socioeconomic conditions in remote communities compared with more accessible areas
This study uses Statistics Canada’s newly developed remoteness index classification and data from the 2016 Census of Population to report on the socioeconomic characteristics of First Nations, Métis and Inuit women and girls living in communities with varying levels of remoteness.
