The median after-tax income of Canadian families and unattached individuals was $62,900 in 2019. This was virtually unchanged from the previous year.
Job vacancies, fourth quarter 2020
There were 560,200 job vacancies in the fourth quarter of 2020, up 51,600 (+10.2%) from the fourth quarter of 2019.
Travel between Canada and other countries, January 2021
Arrivals to Canada from the United States and other countries were down 92.3% in January 2021, compared with the same month a year earlier. Similarly, the number of Canadian residents returning from abroad was down 90.4% over the same period.
