Canadian oil pipeline companies reported total operating revenues of $7.9 billion and total operating expenses of $3.5 billion in 2016. As a result, net revenue from operations was $4.4 billion, while net income after taxes totalled $2.4 billion.

Canadian natural gas transport and distribution systems reported total operating revenues of $17.5 billion and total operating expenses of $13.6 billion in 2016. As a result, net revenue from operations was $3.9 billion, while net income after taxes totalled $3.0 billion.
