Gross domestic product by industry: Provinces and territories, 2021
Real gross domestic product rose in every province and territory except Saskatchewan in 2021, as many sectors of the Canadian economy continued to emerge from significant contractions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Households and the Environment Survey: Energy use, 2019
Canadian households consumed 1.4 million terajoules of energy in their homes in 2019, a pattern similar to the energy consumption in 2015. On average, the amount of energy consumed per household edged down from 92.5 gigajoules in 2015 to 90.5 gigajoules in 2019. Households in Alberta (124.6 gigajoules), Saskatchewan (120.5 gigajoules), Manitoba (115.7 gigajoules) and Ontario (94.8 gigajoules) reported higher-than-average energy consumption per household, whereas households in the remaining provinces reported lower-than-average energy consumption per household.
Production and disposition of tobacco products, March 2022
Canadian manufacturers produced 1.6 billion cigarettes in March, up 34.7% from February. Cigarette production was 15.0% lower compared with March 2021.
Poultry and egg statistics, April 2022
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are now available for April. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for March 2022, and data on egg production are available for February 2022.
