The food services and drinking places subsector recorded operating revenue of $57.9 billion and operating expenses of $55.4 billion in 2013. This led to an operating profit margin of 4.3%. This industry group is composed of full-service restaurants, limited-service restaurants, special food services and drinking places.
Specialized design services, 2013
The specialized design services industry group reported $2.9 billion in operating revenue and $2.4 billion in operating expenses in 2013, resulting in an operating profit margin of 18.1%.
