Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, March 2026
The Industrial Product Price Index increased 2.4% month over month in March and gained 7.8% year over year. Meanwhile, the Raw Materials Price Index increased by 12.0% month over month and rose 23.6% year over year.
Travel between Canada and other countries, February 2026
In February, the number of Canadian-resident return trips from the United States decreased 12.5% year over year, while the number of trips to Canada by United States residents increased 5.9%.
Employment Insurance, February 2026
The number of Canadians receiving regular Employment Insurance benefits declined by 8,700 (-1.6%) to 542,000 in February. This follows a decline of 17,000 (-3.0%) in January.
Monthly Survey of Manufacturing: Advance indicator, March 2026
Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the manufacturing sector. Advance results indicate that total manufacturing sales increased 3.5% in March. The largest increases were in the petroleum and coal product subsector and the transportation equipment subsector.
Natural gas supply and disposition, February 2026
February data on natural gas transmission, storage and distribution are now available.
Refined petroleum products, March 2026
Data for March on the production and inventories of refined petroleum products in Canada are now available upon request.
