Payroll employment, earnings and hours, February 2018
Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $997 in February, little changed from the previous month. Earnings were up 3.4% compared with 12 months earlier, largely the result of gains in the second half of 2017.
A snapshot of licensed cannabis producers, 2016
Statistics Canada conducted a survey of Canada’s licensed cannabis producers in the fourth quarter of 2017 and early 2018. Businesses in this industry are licensed by Health Canada. The survey collected information on production, inventories, revenues, expenses, employment and capital expenditures for 2015 and 2016.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, February 2018
There were 365,673 aircraft take-offs and landings at the 91 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations in February, compared with 355,609 movements in February 2017.
Electric power statistics, February 2018
Data on electric power for February are now available upon request.
Coal and coke statistics, February 2018
Monthly data for February on the production and export volumes of coal, by coal type and use, are now available. Data are available at the national level and by coal-producing province.
Oilseed crushing statistics, March 2018
Oilseed processors crushed 820 712 tonnes of canola in March. Oil production totalled 369 137 tonnes, while meal production totalled 454 219 tonnes.
Deliveries of major grains, March 2018
Data on major grain deliveries are now available for March.
