Monthly Survey of Manufacturing, December 2018
Manufacturing sales declined for the third consecutive month, down 1.3% to $56.4 billion in December on lower sales of petroleum and coal products. Excluding this industry, manufacturing sales declined 0.3%.
New Housing Price Index, December 2018
New housing prices were unchanged at the national level for the fifth consecutive month.
Employment services, 2017
The employment services industry group realized total operating revenues of $14.5 billion in 2017, up 6.8% from 2016. Most of this revenue was reported by businesses in Ontario (58.3%), Alberta (16.1%) and Quebec (14.5%).
Stocks of frozen and chilled meats, January 1, 2019
Stocks of frozen and chilled meats in cold storage totalled 123 441 tonnes as of January 1, up 13.4% from October 1, 2018.
Fertilizer Shipments Survey, second quarter 2018/2019
Shipments of ammonium sulphate within Canada increased by 30 000 tonnes to 415 000 tonnes in the second quarter of the 2018/2019 fertilizer year, up 7.8% from the same quarter a year earlier.
