Canada’s balance of international payments, fourth quarter 2018
Canada’s current account deficit (on a seasonally adjusted basis) expanded by $5.4 billion in the fourth quarter to $15.5 billion. In the financial account (unadjusted for seasonal variation), an increase in foreign holdings of currency and deposits at Canadian banks led the inflow of funds into the economy.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, January 2019
The Industrial Product Price Index declined 0.3% in January, driven primarily by lower prices for energy and petroleum products. The Raw Materials Price Index rose 3.8%, mainly due to higher prices for crude energy products.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, January 2019
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) increased 1.2% in January, following a 0.3% decrease in December.
Non-residential capital and repair expenditures, 2017 (revised), 2018 (preliminary) and 2019 (intentions)
Capital expenditures on non-residential construction and machinery and equipment are expected to rise 2.5% to $252.1 billion in 2019, following increases of 4.3% in 2017 and 2.5% in 2018.
Consulting services, 2017
The management, scientific and technical consulting services industry group realized total operating revenue of $21.3 billion in 2017, up 8.1% from 2016.
Monthly civil aviation statistics, December 2018
The six Canadian Level I air carriers flew 6.9 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in December, up 4.8% from December 2017 and continuing the upward year-over-year monthly trend that began in April 2014.
Monthly Passenger Bus and Urban Transit, December 2018
Total operating revenues (excluding subsidies) for urban transit companies totalled $317.1 million in December.

Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats as well as edible dried egg products are available for February 2019. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for January 2019. Data on egg production are available for December 2018.
