New Housing Price Index, December 2017
Nationally, prices for new houses were unchanged in December, while showing limited growth in some markets.
Canadian business counts, December 2017
Nationally, there were 1,270,783 active businesses with employees in December. Provincially, Ontario reported the highest number of active businesses with employees at 463,721, followed by Quebec (258,713), British Columbia (198,604) and Alberta (175,921).

Sawmills, November 2017
Lumber production fell 1.0% from October with sawmills producing 5 929.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in November. Production was 1.5% lower than in November 2016.
Fertilizer Shipments Survey, Second quarter 2017/2018
Shipments of ammonium sulfate to the Prairies increased by 42 000 tonnes (+13.0%) to 365 000 tonnes in the second quarter of the 2017/2018 fertilizer year compared with the same quarter a year earlier.
