In November, 544,200 people received regular Employment Insurance benefits, up slightly from October (+3,200 or +0.6%).
Family violence in Canada: A statistical profile, 2014
Results from the 2014 General Social Survey on victimization show that of the 19.2 million Canadians in the provinces who had a current or former spouse or common law partner, about 4% (760,000 individuals) reported having been physically and/or sexually abused by their partner during the preceding five years.
Study: Deaths involving sepsis in Canada, 2000 to 2011
In 2011, 1 in 18 deaths in Canada involved sepsis, a serious condition where the immune system overreacts to an infection and can lead to multiple organ failure and death.

Investment in residential construction rose 2.2% to $4.3 billion in November compared with the same month in 2014.
Civil aviation operating statistics, November 2015
The two major Canadian air carriers flew 3.5 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in November, up 4.9% from the same month in 2014. Air Canada carried 2.0 million passengers, up 10.1% from the same month a year earlier, while WestJet carried 1.5 million passengers, down 1.1% from the same month a year earlier.
