This study uses data from the 2017 General Social Survey on Families to examine child care use by Canadian parents, types of child care arrangements, and cost, along with the connection between mothers’ employment characteristics and use of child care.
Monthly Survey of Manufacturing: Flash estimate, June 2021
Given the rapidly evolving economic situation, Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the manufacturing sector for June. Advance results indicate that manufacturing sales rose 1.9% in June. The increase mostly reflects higher sales in the transportation equipment industry.
