Payroll employment, earnings and hours, May 2018
The average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees totalled $998 in May, up 0.4% from April following five months of virtually no change. In the 12 months to May, earnings increased by 2.9%.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, May 2018
Aircraft take-offs and landings at the 91 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations increased 8.9% to 570,697 movements in May, compared with 524,165 movements in May 2017.
Construction Union Wage Rate Index, June 2018
The Construction Union Wage Rate Index (including supplements) for Canada was unchanged in June compared with the previous month. The composite index increased 0.8% in the 12 months to June.
