Wholesale trade, January 2016
Wholesale sales were unchanged at $57.0 billion in January as gains in the machinery, equipment and supplies subsector were offset by lower sales in the motor vehicle and parts subsector. In volume terms, wholesale sales decreased 0.2% in January.
Travel between Canada and other countries, January 2016
Canadian residents made 3.5 million trips to the United States in January, up 2.0% compared with December. The increase was mainly attributable to a 3.7% gain in same-day car trips.
Financial and taxation statistics for enterprises, 2014
Corporate operating profits rose 7.3% from 2013 to $388.7 billion in 2014.
