In January, 567,900 people received Employment Insurance (EI) benefits, little changed from the previous month (-1,900 or -0.3%).

Construction Union Wage Rate Index, February 2017
The Construction Union Wage Rate Index (including supplements) for Canada was unchanged in February compared with the previous month. The composite index increased 0.5% in the 12 months to February.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, January 2017
There were 368,640 aircraft take-offs and landings in January at the 91 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations, compared with 362,599 movements in January 2016.
Oilseed crushing statistics, February 2017
Oilseed processors crushed 752,205 tonnes of canola in February. Oil production totalled 329,866 tonnes, while meal production totalled 417,253 tonnes.
