Wholesale trade, March 2016
Wholesale sales declined for a second consecutive month in March, down 1.0% to $54.6 billion. Lower sales were recorded in five of seven subsectors, led by the motor vehicle and parts subsector and the miscellaneous subsector.

Life expectancy at birth was 79.4 years among Canadian males and 83.6 years among Canadian females during the 2010-2012 period, up 0.3 years for males and up 0.2 years for females compared with 2009-2011.
Repair and maintenance services, 2014
The repair and maintenance services subsector earned $27.8 billion in operating revenue in 2014, up 3.8% from $26.8 billion in 2013. This resulted in an operating profit margin of 8.8%, down from 9.5% in 2013. This subsector comprises three main industry groups.
Book publishing industry, 2014
The book publishers industry generated operating revenue of $1.7 billion in 2014. Operating expenses were $1.5 billion, which resulted in an operating profit margin of 11.7%.
