Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $966 in March, little changed from February and up 0.9% from March 2016.
Quarterly financial statistics for enterprises, first quarter 2017
Canadian corporations earned $91.9 billion in operating profits in the first quarter, down $7.3 billion or 7.4% from the fourth quarter of 2016.
Machinery and Equipment Price Index, first quarter 2017
The Machinery and Equipment Price Index (MEPI) decreased 0.4% in the first quarter, following a 2.2% increase in the fourth quarter. The import component was down 0.4%, while the domestic component decreased 0.1%.
Construction Union Wage Rate Index, April 2017
The Construction Union Wage Rate Index (including supplements) for Canada was unchanged in April compared with the previous month. The composite index increased 0.5% over the 12 months ending in April.

Oilseed processors crushed 747 528 tonnes of canola in April. Oil production totalled 328 580 tonnes, while meal production totalled 418 530 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, March 2017
Millers milled 256 765 tonnes of wheat in March, while wheat flour production totalled 197 556 tonnes.
