Canada’s international transactions in securities, September 2016
Foreign investment in Canadian securities amounted to $11.8 billion in September. New issues of bonds placed abroad by Canadian private corporations accounted for the bulk of this activity. At the same time, Canadian investment in foreign securities was $1.8 billion, led by acquisitions of non-US foreign shares.
Wholesale Services Price Index, second quarter 2016
The Wholesale Services Price Index (WSPI) rose 1.2% in the second quarter, with five of the eight subsectors posting margin gains. This was the third consecutive quarterly increase.
Retail Services Price Index, second quarter 2016
The Retail Services Price Index (RSPI) advanced 0.7% in the second quarter, with 5 of the 10 major retail subsectors posting margin gains.

Aquaculture, 2015
Sales of aquaculture products and services increased 23.4% from 2014 to $907.4 million in 2015. The increase in sales was attributable to recovering salmon production following lower output in 2014.
