Total sales of refined petroleum products to end-users stood at 84.8 million cubic metres in 2020, a decrease of 15.1% compared with pre-pandemic sales in 2019.
Secondary distributors of refined petroleum products, 2020
Secondary distributors of refined petroleum products sold 23.6 billion litres of refined petroleum products in Canada in 2020, down 15.6% from 2019. The refined petroleum products reported here are motor gasoline (50.6%), diesel fuel oil (42.0%), light fuel oil (5.0%) and heavy fuel oil (2.4%).
Early childhood and child care services in official minority language
Today, Statistics Canada is releasing two fact sheets that provide information on the potential supply of and demand for early childhood and child care services in the official minority language. The first fact sheet is about English-language early childhood and child care services in Quebec, and the second is about French-language early childhood and child care services in Canada outside Quebec, based on data from the 2001 and 2016 censuses of population.
