Canada’s balance of international payments, third quarter 2017
Canada’s current account deficit (on a seasonally adjusted basis) widened by $3.8 billion in the third quarter to $19.3 billion. In the financial account (unadjusted for seasonal variation), strong and continued foreign investment in Canadian bonds again led the inflow of funds into the economy.

Payroll employment, earnings and hours, September 2017
Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $986 in September, up 1.0% from the previous month. Compared with 12 months earlier, earnings increased 3.1%.
Monthly Passenger Bus and Urban Transit, September 2017
Total operating revenues (excluding subsidies) for urban transit companies were $361.2 million in September.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, September 2017
There were 506,030 aircraft take-offs and landings at the 91 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations compared with 500,675 movements in September 2016.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, October 2017
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) increased 1.6% in October, following a 0.7% decline in September. This was the largest gain for the month of October since the series began in 2003.

A new edition of the publication Health Indicators (82-221-X) is now available. It includes updated health region level estimates on premature and potentially avoidable mortality, infant and perinatal mortality, as well as life expectancy at birth and at age 65.
