Experiences of discrimination during the COVID-19 pandemic
The growing awareness about discrimination has highlighted the need for additional data on how this issue affects the lives of Canadians. Recently, people living in Canada were given an opportunity to share their experiences of discrimination during the pandemic via a new crowdsourcing initiative.

International students in master’s degree programs had higher graduation rates after two years and completed their programs faster than Canadian students.
Detailed preliminary data on confirmed cases of COVID-19, January 15 to September 13, 2020 (revised data)
An updated set of preliminary data on the number of confirmed novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases reported by provincial and territorial public health authorities to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is now available. Along with this dataset are two aggregated tables that summarize the information available in the dataset. The updated information covers the period from January 15 to September 13, 2020.
Government finance statistics, second quarter 2020
Quarterly data for Government Finance Statistics (GFS), a system that presents fiscal statistics using the international standard GFS developed by the International Monetary Fund, are now available. This standard allows consistent aggregation and analysis between participating countries.
