Employment Insurance, July 2023
The number of Canadians receiving regular Employment Insurance benefits increased by 25,000 (+6.0%) to 438,000 in July.
Studies on Gender and Intersecting Identities, 2007 to 2022
While men still earn more than women, the gender wage gap continued to narrow from 16% in 2007 to 12% in 2022 among paid workers aged 20 to 54 years. This release looks at this gap and how it varies across groups of women, and how it changed from 2007 to 2022.
New Housing Price Index, August 2023
The national index edged up by 0.1% month over month in August. Prices were unchanged in 16 of the 27 census metropolitan areas (CMAs) surveyed, up in 5 and down in 6 CMAs.
