Payroll employment, earnings and hours, July 2015
Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $957 in July, little changed from $954 the previous month. Compared with 12 months earlier, weekly earnings increased by 1.6%.
Construction Union Wage Rate Index, August 2015
The Construction Union Wage Rate Index (including supplements) for Canada was unchanged in August compared with the previous month. The composite index increased 1.7% in the 12 months to August.
Dairy statistics, July 2015
Consumers purchased 245 034 kilolitres of milk and cream in July, down 3.0% from July 2014.
Oilseed crushing statistics, August 2015
Oilseed processors crushed 589 387 tonnes of canola in August. Oil production totalled 259 326 tonnes, while meal production amounted to 334 244 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, July 2015
Millers milled 251 635 tonnes of wheat in July, while wheat flour production totalled 193 553 tonnes.
