National tourism indicators, second quarter 2019
Tourism spending in Canada rose 0.6% in the second quarter mainly as a result of increased spending by international visitors.
Payroll employment, earnings and hours, July 2019
Non-farm payroll employees earned an average of $1,027 per week in July, up 0.5% from the previous month. On a year-over-year basis, earnings were up 2.7%.
Oilseed crushing statistics, August 2019
Oilseed processors crushed 829 778 tonnes of canola in August. Oil production totalled 362 351 tonnes, while meal production totalled 465 424 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, August 2019
Millers milled 283 338 tonnes of wheat in August, while wheat flour production totalled 217 722 tonnes.
Deliveries of major grains, August 2019
