Payroll employment, earnings and hours, July 2016
Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $955 in July, little changed from the previous month (-0.2%) and from 12 months earlier (+0.1%).
National tourism indicators, second quarter 2016
Tourism spending in Canada rose 1.1% in the second quarter, following a 1.2% gain in the first quarter. Increased tourism spending by Canadians at home and by international visitors in Canada contributed to the overall growth.
Youth court statistics, 2014/2015
There were nearly 33,000 cases completed in youth courts in Canada in 2014/2015, about 19% fewer cases than in the previous year. The number of completed cases in youth courts was the lowest since these data were first collected more than two decades ago. A declining trend was also observed in the rate of youth charged by police over the last decade.
Deaths from congenital anomalies in Canada, 1974 to 2012
In Canada, about 1 in 25 babies is born each year with a congenital anomaly—commonly known as a birth defect. There are several hundred separate congenital anomalies and, for most of them, the cause is unknown.

The six Canadian Level I air carriers flew 7.1 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in July, up 10.9% from July 2015.
Sawmills, July 2016
Lumber production by sawmills fell 10.1% from June to 5 300.3 thousand cubic metres in July. Compared with July 2015, lumber production rose 1.3%.

The 2017 version of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Canada is available today. NAICS Canada 2017 replaces NAICS Canada 2012.
